The ceremony took place on Saturday January 16, 2021 during the closing of the 7th Constituent Assembly of the Northern Cameroon Conference.
In perfect solemnity and in the presence of more than 2,000 people who gathered for the occasion, the four candidates for the ordination entered in the Church for the ceremony. Pastors Djonma Abel Nestor, Guedjeo Elie, Peter Pichteuh, Toubine Thomas were surrounded by their families and an audience of authorities including the representative of the Governor of the extreme North Region of Cameroon.

The President of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Cameroon, Pastor Assembe Minyono Valère Guillaume delivered a sermon entitled "Victory in Unity and Peace". Drawing inspiration from 1 John 5: 4, "Because all that is born of God overcomes the world; and the victory that triumphs over the world is our faith ", Pastor Assembe exhorted not only the pastoral body, but the whole assembly to a total submission to God. He therefore proposed five means to achieve this: dialogue, justice, forgiveness, reconciliation and non-violence. Pastor Yenge Isaac, Executive Secretary of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Cameroon, conveyed the pastoral charge summarized in: "Be shepherds and not mercenaries"! A call certainly well received because of the joy expressed by these servants and their wives.

On behalf of the four ordained pastors, Pastor Djonma Abel Nestor thanked God for the vocation and all who contributed to the success of their ministry. The pastoral body has just been strengthened in this field, which has nearly 37,000 members divided into 278 churches and groups.
