 West-Central Africa Division (WAD) : Handover Ceremony

On this day, January 8, 2026, the official handover ceremony was held at the headquarters of the West-Central Africa Division between the outgoing Director of the Education Department, Pastor Juvénal Balisasa, and the incoming Director, Professor Mrs. Alozie Yetunde. 
The ceremony took place in the presence of Pastor Boakye Kwame, Secretary of the Ministerial Association and Field Secretary, as well as Elder Falayi Frédéric, Associate Secretary. In his address, Pastor Juvénal Balisasa presented a report on the achievements recorded by the department during his tenure. He also outlined the major challenges facing the department, before extending his wishes of patience, wisdom, and courage to Mrs. Alozie Yetunde, emphasizing the complexity and scope of the responsibilities associated with the mission now entrusted to her. 
In her remarks, Mrs. Yetunde thanked her predecessor and pledged to do her utmost to live up to the task entrusted to her, while relying on the continued support of Pastor Balisasa and, above all, on God’s help. 

Let us recall that Pastor Juvénal Balisasa was recently elected as Associate Director of Education at the General Conference during the recent General Conference Session held in St. Louis, United States, in July 2025.
