The Oti Ghana Mission's first quinquennial session closed on March 7, 2026, with the ordination of two Pastors Ransford Kwateng Agyeman and Samuel Abredu at Okadjakrom Jasikan. The session was followed by a tour of Oti Ghana, where officers from South East Ghana Union Mission (SEGUM) Pr Col (Rtd) Peter Nyarko Duodu, Pr. Dr. Nathan Teye Odonkor, Dr Isaac Owusu Dankwa and the new Oti Ghana Mission officers Pr Dr Pierre Musabyimana, Pr. Isaac Ansroja, and some directors visited churches in Kadjebi, Teteman-Mountain View top locations.
The Oti Region in eastern Ghana is a rapidly developing area, created in 2019 from the northern part of the Volta Region, with Dambai as its capital. Covering 11,070 km ², it's known for its agricultural potential, particularly in cassava, yam, and rice. The region is also rich in iron ore deposits, with significant discoveries in areas like Akokrowa, Asato, and Gyamurume. In fact, Ghana's iron ore reserves are estimated to be around 1.7 billion tonnes, with the Oti Region being a key contributor.¹ ²
The region's strategic location, favorable climate, and government support make it an attractive investment opportunity, especially in agriculture, mining, and renewable energy. The government aims to process iron ore domestically by 2027, reducing Ghana's reliance on imports and boosting the local economy ¹ ².
The tour of SEGUM officers aimed to motivate the church towards achieving Oti Ghana Conference in the next four years. Strategies included increasing membership via "onevoice27", capitalizing on Jesus' baptism and anointing in AD 27 as the beloved and Savior of the world for more baptisms, and promoting unity through the Holy Spirit, faithfulness in tithes and offerings.
On March 8, 2026, the South East Ghana Officers, along with Oti Ghana Mission Youth Director and Ministerial Secretary, led by the Executive Secretary of Oti Ghana Mission-Pr Isaac Ansrodja, continued the tour. We visited Nkwanta, Kpasa, Damanko, Banda, Chinderi, Kete Krachi, Dambai, Worawora, and Nkonya churches, inspiring and supporting like Paul in the New Testament.
In Damanko, we met Elder George Beema, who built a school and chapel. Elder Beema's dedication inspires support from abroad and brethren in the diaspora.  Elder Daniel K. Ameley fully built Banda Church and providing great support to Okadjakrom and Jasikan Churches.

The South East Ghana first missionary journey was a testament to God's miracles and favor. Members showed remarkable staying power, waiting late into the night, reminding us of the midnight cry and preparing for Jesus' return.
Our last church visit was at Nkonya around 11:30 pm, and God's presence was palpable. But the highlight was crossing the river from Kete Krachi to Dambai. The ferry closes at 6 pm, and we were running late. We prayed, made calls, and God connected us with the Municipal Chief Executive, a church member. The ferry waited until 7:30 pm for us. God is still using His people to accomplish His task, indeed!
Oti Ghana Mission looks forward to progress towards Conference status. Support in prayer, projects, Pastors salaries, and motorcycles are appreciated to maximize efforts. Your contributions can make a remarkable difference!
